Incorporate These Healthy Habits In Your Life

Writen by Nitin Jain

1. Never skip your breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Still, many of us skip it thinking that it will help us shed pounds. When you skip breakfast your blood sugar levels, as well as other nutrient levels drop, depriving you of the required nutrition and energy for the rest of the day. Breakfast eaters have a more positive attitude toward school and work, and they perform better.

2. Bite into something good. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Fruits are cool and juicy, so they get you the water you need to stay hydrated and they also provide the vitamins and nutrients that fat-free snack foods don't. They're good and they taste sweet - and some contain antioxidants that help prevent aging. Healthy habits include eating a lot of fruits.

3. Eat regular meals. Skipping meals can lead to out-of-control hunger, often resulting in overeating. When you're very hungry, it's also tempting to forget about good nutrition. Snacking between meals can help curb hunger, but don't eat so much that your snack becomes an entire meal.

4. Quit smoking. Now, studies show that quitting smoking, you can restore your heart function back to that of a non-smoker within a few years. You'll breathe easier, cut down your chances for heart disease, cancer, and more. But you knew that, right? Also, if you're not a smoker, stay away from those who do. Secondhand smoke is a major killer - don't be afraid to tell people gently that you'd prefer it if they didn't smoke around you.

5. Exercise Daily! You don't have to be a professional athlete - just make time for 15-20 minutes of exercise daily. Take a walk, dance crazily to music, go for a jog, play volleyball on the beach, whatever it takes to get your heart pumping for a little while.

6. Get your sleep. Getting at least 8 hours of sleep every night can extend your life. Your body has time to recharge every night so it's fresh and ready to face the onslaught of the next day.

7. Every day, devote a little time for yourserlf. Take some time out of your "busy" schedule. First, eliminate all forms of intrusion. Then close your eyes, breathe deeply and let your thoughts float downstream like a log carried by the river. You can practice meditation or relax in a hot bath with aromatherapy. When a thought comes up, just watch it float away.

Acid Reflux Disease

Writen by Andy Casasanta

What is acid reflux disease?

Acid reflux disease can and often is mistaken for heartburn. But the heartburn symptoms of acid reflux disease usually occur 2 or more days a week for at least 3 months and can damage your esophagus. At the top of your stomach is a muscle called the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), which normally opens and closes allowing food to enter. It also prevents the acid in your stomach from backing up into your esophagus. The trouble begins when the LES opens at inappropriate times, allowing acid from the stomach to get into the esophagus, where it doesn't belong.

Acid reflux disease can also lead to more serious medical conditions that may require hospitalization. Acid reflux in the throat can cause sore throat. If acid reaches the mouth, it can dissolve the enamel of the teeth. Millions of people have the disease and suffer from its most common symptom - frequent and persistent heartburn. Acid reflux disease can be treated and controlled.

How do you get Acid Reflux?

Factors contributing to acid reflux include fatty foods, cigarettes, chocolate, caffeine, alcohol, obesity, pregnancy and delayed stomach emptying. Obesity and pregnancy increase pressures within the abdomen (body trunk), pushing the stomach contents back into the esophagus. Some patients have stomachs that empty their contents into the intestines very slowly.

How serious is Acid Reflux?

The lining of the esophagus may become ulcerated and can result in narrowing, making swallowing of food and, sometimes, liquids, painful and difficult. In people with esophagitis, there may also be an increased risk of cancer of the esophagus.

How long does Acid Reflux last?

Acid reflux can last several months or longer if not treated.

How is Acid Reflux treated?

Antacids are medicines that are commonly used to treat acid-related symptoms, like heartburn or indigestion, and work by neutralizing acid in the stomach. However, they are not usually recommended to treat the frequent heartburn suffered by people with GERD.

Acne Skin Savers Your Mom Never Told You About

Writen by Naweko San-Joyz

Undoubtedly your mom told you about the straw that broke the camel's back, but did she fill you in on the dirty deed that brought the zit to life?

Your skin is one of the most sensitive and responsive organs of the human body. As such, the skin responds to every touch and thought you experience.

Potential pimples can lie below the surface of the skin only waiting for the right amount of irritation or inflammation to bring it to the surface of your skin. For instance, if you've ever had a painfully deep bump on your chin you know what a potential zit looks and feels like.

Every pore on your body could serve as a potential home for a zit. In its natural, most healthy state, an open pore allows for a free exchange of oxygen and waste between the skin and the environment.

Yet zits receive their invitation to take form within the pore once trapped waste or excess irritation prevents the natural excretion of waste products like oil and excess fatty acids from the skin.

Sometimes, a future zit living beneath the skin does not exhibit any pain at all. That's because the area beneath the skin has not reached an infection point serious enough to activate leucocytes, or white blood cells that fight off infection.

Infected zits beneath the skin attract numerous white blood cells that fill, or expand the affected areas, which can result in a painful sensation.

Touching or rubbing the skin can be that one last act that irritates the sensitive area enough to cause a zit to rise beneath the surface of the skin.

So how's all this going to stop the act the brings the zit to life? Simple, just note the everyday experiences where your next act could agitate a zit into existence.

For example, only touch your face to cleanse it. Excessively touching your face during the day while you work allows to you bring several more germs and bacteria to you face that you skin now has to react and protect itself against.

Protecting the skin against a potential bacterial threat proves more important to the skin than preventing a zit from popping up.

Moreover, make sure that whatever you place against your face is clean. This includes your pillow, phone, and makeup applicators.

In the end, even if you mom didn't tell you about acne skin savers, you can now enjoy the privilege of zapping zits before they start.

Are looking for a natural way to get rid of acne? Naweko San-Joyz has created the only guide to deliver a natural acne cure as unique as you. Get yours at Noixia.com, Home of Six Billion Natural Cures for Acne

How Can I Uncover Hidden Sugar And Prevent Carb Creep

Writen by Benji Paras

Many low carb dieters fall victim to "carb creep," which is triggered carb binges, caused by creeping intakes of carbs. This is particularly a problem after finishing the stricter early phases of their plans. For instance, low carb dieters who use Dr. Atkins' prescription often fail to follow his plan after the induction phase of the diet. Instead, they go on an unplanned, generic "low carb" diet.

This uncontrolled deviation from the path often causes low carb dieters to slowly scale- up carb intake amounts in an unmeasured fashion.

Low carb dieters can also fall into the "carb creep" trap by consuming products that contain hidden sugars. Because of insulin spikes, hidden sugars can trigger "hormonal hunger," or cravings, which can then lead to binges.

This is why it is vital for low carb dieters to follow an overarching dietary plan that involves slowly scaling-up carb consumption in the order of around five grams per week (as Atkins suggests).

It is also vital for low carb dieters to carefully inspect food labels to insure that products do not contain "hidden" carbs. This is something Type II Diabetics must do regularly-- and it is fairly simple.

Medicine.Net suggests that low carb dieters look for the following ingredients on food labels to avoid carb creep: sucrose, honey, syrup, corn sweetener, glucose, dextrose, high-fructose corn syrup, fructose, molasses, maltose, fruit juice concentrate or lactose.

According to Medicine.Net, if a product contains the above ingredients, it is likely to also contain a significant amount of sugar.

If you are on a low carb diet, it is essential that you factor all of this in and develop a plan before you shop at the grocery store. You should consult with your doctor or recheck your selected low carb plan to determine how many carbs you should consume each day in your given dietary phase.

You should then plan a diet that follows this strict prescription and factors in "hidden carbs." This practical approach will help you identify the cause of your stall, and eliminate it by using methods suggested by your low carb dietary plan.

Alcoholism Alcoholics Hypnosis Cd For Alcohol Abuse

Writen by Steven Harold

Many people suffering from stress or excess worry will turn to an alcoholic drink to help calm their nerves and provide some feelings of relaxation. There is no doubt that alcohol does have a relaxing effect when taken in moderate amounts.

Some people will have what they call a 'relaxer' at the end of their working day. This might be a glass or two of wine, a shot of whisky, rum etc or maybe a beer. In moderate amounts alcohol is supposed to be good for us. However it is when alcohol is used in excess, maybe to escape from dealing with a life problem that alcohol consumption can become an issue and a serious one too.

If you are drinking early in the morning, if you can't face the day without a drink, if you always need 'dutch courage' before attending a meeting whether social or professional, if you try to conceal how much you drink or are in denial about your drinking then you do have a problem.

What is not realised is that excess alcohol consumption can bring with it a feeling of depression. The person who drinks to excess and who then feels depressed will drink again to try and suppress or numb the feelings of depression and so a vicious cycle begins.

The cycle continues with the possibility of a relationship or marriage breakdown, loss of a job then leading to finanical worries. All of these contribute to the depression which in turn leads to more drinking.

The only person that can stop someone when drinking excessively permanently is the drinker themselves. No amount of cajoling or persuading or threatening from love ones seems to make any difference. As with anything in life that is worth having or obtaining, it all begins with a decision. The decision comes first and then the action follows.

Many people who have had a drink problem and overcome it have used the AA's 12-step programme. As with anything, it will not be the right vehicle for everyone. IF you have attended an AA session and found them not to you liking, it is not an excuse to give up. It means that either you need to find an AA group that does feel better for you or another form of help may be what you need.

Hypnosis has been used to help people with a drink issue. It still requires the drinker to take responsibility for themselves and their life choices. The alcohol hypnosis cd may just give you enough insight to help you crack your drink problem and start enjoying your life again.

Curls For Girls How To Scrunch Your Hair

Writen by Christina Jones

This is a simple, and great to know, blow drying technique for bringing out the natural curl in both long and short hair. Anyone, with the possible exception of those with fine, very straight hair, can get an amazing amount of volume and curl if you will try this. You do not have to wash your hair, just make sure it is wet, and add a little gel or mousse to it if you would like. In fact, unless your hair is very fine and prone to being weighed down by hair products, leaving it just a little dirty will actually add volume to your curls! You also might want a place to sit while you do this.

Step 1: Holding your hair dryer in one hand, bend at the waist, and flip your hair upside down, so the ends are all hanging towards the ground. With your free hand, grab a handful of the ends of your hair and bring your hand up towards your head, gathering up hair as you go. You should have a big handful of hair. Hold it loosely in your hand, and aim the warm air all around your hand for 15 seconds or so. Release that hair, and repeat with another section of hair. Move all around your head! You should be able to get all of the way around your head with about 5 handfuls.

Step 2: When you have had a go at all of your hair, take a few seconds and aim the dryer at your scalp. Rub your free hand in small circles all over your head while aiming the dryer at your scalp. This will create volume in your hairstyle, and even when you wear it straight it is a good technique to use. No one looks good with hair flat to their scalp.

Keep repeating these steps until your hair is mostly dry. The tighter you squeeze your hair as you dry it, the more curl you will get, and the longer it will take to dry. This can take from 5-20 minutes, depending on how long and thick your hair is. When your hair is nearly dry, add a little hairspray at your scalp, and through the rest of your hair, and do one more quick round with the hairdryer. I would love to see what you all can do with this–please send your before and after pictures to me!

Tips: Try having some layers cut into your hair if you don't have them, to maximize your "curl power!" Also, the more frequently you scrunch your hair, the easier it is. Embrace your curls!

Yoga An Exercise For Everyone

Writen by Allison Preston

Many adults enjoy and are aware of the rewards of yoga. While it may not look like other forms of exercise to most people, they are amazed at how the seemingly simple poses can work out so many different areas of their body. Yoga stretches tight muscles, builds body awareness, improves endurance, and calms the mind and body. But yoga is now attracting a younger audience who is finding out that yoga can be a fun way to exercise and relax.

Why Yoga is Different

For people lacking in confidence about their body image, some group activities can backfire causing people to further disconnect from their bodies and actively resist taking care of themselves. Yoga's emphasis is on self-acceptance which makes it more appealing, a less intimidating way to get active. Yoga stresses a nonjudgmental emphasis on body awareness.

Yoga is not a competitive sport- there are no winners or losers. Yoga can give less confident people that much-needed support from their peers. If someone in a class has difficulty with a particular pose, often others in the room help them out. Yoga offers many people an opportunity to just relax. Just getting to be –without having to achieve anything in particular- is a huge relief to many people.

The Added Benefits of Yoga

Traditional sports tend to emphasize strength and speed over flexibility. Many adults overlook the importance of stretching. Additionally others use weight training to develop major muscles while ignoring the supportive and opposing muscles which are equally as important. Yoga can help correct these imbalances. It helps build endurance and flexibility, thereby improving athletic performance. Yoga can also enhance your ability to concentrate and focus, and improve your posture. Chest-opening postures and inverted poses strengthen arms, shoulders and back muscles, which teach you how to carry yourself with more self confidence.

Yoga can also teach you how to stay calm centered and focused in the midst of distraction and to let your body relax. This is an important skill for anyone who is experiencing transitions- physical, emotional, intellectual in today's fast paced world. Yoga often becomes an outlet for working out people's emotions. It can help you take control of you frustration and find alternative ways to deal with it rather than reacting right away.

Creative Cure

Writen by Arvind Katoch

A new cure is in the town, it is creative cure. Although it is here from ancient time, however it is coming back to cure especially in recent times. Here is example of Chennai based MV Krishnan, an air force retiree in his 60's. He is suffering from Parkinson's disease. His life has no purpose, until his daughter, a sculptor-artist, introduced him to painting. It has not only revived his sense of purpose, but also helped tame his involuntary movements. When his painting exhibition three year back drew gasps of admiration, then it is clear what alternate healing can do.

The life-affirming pleasures of creativity and art making, like finished works of art, can reinforce and enhance self-esteem and physical, mental, and emotional well being. The use of thumb and forefinger in painting or drawing is believed to kindle brain related acupressure points, offering a mean of escape from mental or physical stress and pain through concentration and involvement. According to American Art therapy Association, art therapy includes all kind of art therapy or creative art therapy. It includes visual arts, dance, drama, music and poetry.

The guiding principle is that subconscious feelings and disturbed thoughts find a comfortable outlet in art. There is research going on to support all these facts. However there are lot of studies are published in renowned journals which supports the creative cure by using various ways of art. According to the art therapist, with an increase in the emotional distress faced by people these days, the popularity of art therapy is going up. Doctors Arent Responsible

Writen by Robert Baird

DOCTORS AREN'T RESPONSIBLE: - How can we blame people who spend their childhood and teenage years working their butts off learning details by the proven rote method? The parents and society encourage the behavior that leads to a large number of dysfunctional patterns. They often have no time to socialize as they learn volumes of unrelated and un-integrated bits of data. Much of the data should be in hand held computers - it doesn't help to put names to things or impress people with arcane and abstruse jargon. On the other hand the doctors who rise to the level of expert want to ensure their awesome importance continues and they are responsible. The chicken and the egg analogy or the cycle of violent abuse have the same structural roots and needs to change. Who will make these changes? How can accountability and compassion be legislated in education and all other areas of bureaucracy?

McMaster University has a good idea when they refuse to graduate a doctor no matter what his marks are, if the individual hasn't had experience. They have a co-op program and they could benefit a lot from Patch Adams still. I highly recommend his movie and life to any doctor who doesn't want to become part of a machine that is destroying lives. At least Dr. Mengele had a goal to improve the genetics; he wasn't so involved in his pocketbook. Of course it is an exaggeration to hold Dr. Mengele up as an example of the medical 'beneficent paternalism' theory of 'expert' guidance. Jerry Spence has a grass roots ethics summer course for lawyers that doctors might learn from as well. Why do schools turn out anti-social elitists in the first place?

The problem was already well established in 1000 BC as the top 300 members of Milesian society operated the 'Perpetual Sailors' form of government where the rich got richer and fighting for increased power was commonplace. One thing can always be certain in such strife, someone loses and usually the winners' total improvements in resources are less than what was lost by all parties to the conflict. The doctors who make money or the lawyers as modern aristocratic hopefuls are desirous of power rather than helpful and compassionate or acting as healers. Society would be better off by far if it found a way to reward those who deserve it and enable those who try. There was such a system that lasted for a lot longer than our current history of 5,000 years or what James Joyce calls a 'nightmare'.

The 7 Best Amp The 7 Worst Food For A Long Life

Writen by Chris Guerriero

The above foods contain high antioxidant capacity. These foods were chosen because of discovery of the most powerful phytochemicals and anthocyanins, which illustrate strong inhibition of chemocarcinogens.

Other foods with high antioxidant and high anti-cancer potential include walnuts, sunflower seeds, pomegranates, beets, cabbage, peppers, and parsley. Make your diet magically protective by including these highly beneficial foods. Produce is the most important health care your money can buy.

The Top 7 Death Foods Are:

1. Cooked Oil

2. High Fat Cheese

3. Fried Foods such as Potato Chips and French Fries

4. Doughnuts

5. Salt

6. Sausage, hot dogs

7. Pickled, smoked or barbequed meat

Bonus Item: Alcohol - not really a food, but it's so devastating it had to be added to my list.

These are effective foods for those attempting to die younger. How many of those people do you know?

Foods high in saturated fat and trans fat are consistently associated with high cancer rates. High Fat Cheese typically contain over 10 times as much saturated fat as fish and white meat chicken and turkey.

Salt has been consistently linked to stomach cancer and stroke even in populations that eat diets low in saturated fat.

Add the carcinogenic potential from heated and overcooked oils (usually trans containing) delivered in doughnuts and fries with the powerful cancer inducing properties of carbohydrates cooked at high heat (acrylamide formation) and you have a great cancer potion.

Needless to say, I advise people to avoid the foods on my "worst list" entirely. The best foods to eat are fresh fruits and vegetables. By making these foods the major portion of your diet, you can protect yourself magically against cancer and other serious diseases and extend your youthful vigor into later years.

Is Your Bad Mood Causing Skin Breakouts

Writen by Burgundy Shank

Your skin tells a lot about you. Someone who looks at your face can often tell if you haven't had enough rest, if you've been slacking on your diet, or if you moisturize regularly. Your skin can also tell someone a lot about your state of mind.

It's pretty obvious when you're embarrassed because your face will get flushed. That's not what I mean. I'm referring to life's problems that pile up, stress you out, and keep you from performing at your ultimate best. Long periods without good nutrition will make skin pale and flaky, while a lack of moisture in your body can make skin tight and pinched-looking. Late nights and stressful situations can cause breakouts, oily skin and a tired, harried appearance that can keep you from looking your best.

With our busy lifestyles, it's hard to imagine how we can sleep more, eat better and stay hydrated enough to keep life's problems from showing up on your face. Fortunately, you can easily combat some of these problems by carefully choosing quick ways to relax and rejuvenate your body that won't break the bank.

Natural skincare products containing essential oils will not only help to improve your skin's appearance, but they have a double-duty effect with their aromatherapy benefits. For example, lavender essential oil is beneficial for people with minor cuts, scrapes, rashes and mild sunburn. It is also great for relaxation, making lavender a useful tool for eliminating stress.

Another great essential oil for mood enhancement is clary sage. It helps to balance the skin's natural production of sebum, making it a suitable choice whether your skin is too oily or too dry. At the same time, clary sage is well known for its hormone balancing effects, eliminating the mood swings and cramping that often occur during your menstrual cycle.

When you are choosing skincare products with essential oils, look for ones that contain little to no fragrance so you receive the full benefit of the aromatherapy at work. Also check the labels for chemicals which may cause allergic reactions and thwart your efforts to clear up your skin. With the right products, you'll begin to feel better emotionally, your appearance will change for the better, and people will certainly take notice.

Listen To Your Body

Writen by Mags M

It sounds so simple, doesn't it? It's not as if your body is speaking a language you don't understand. The signals are there, out in the open for you to see and feel. The elevated heart rate in the morning, the feeling of chronically tired legs, the complete lack of energy and enthusiasm, the scratchy throat, the inability to elevate your heart rate during training...

Why is it then, that so many athletes become over-trained, burned out and sick? Why do we ignore these signs? We all feel them and we shouldn't need someone to tell us what they mean. The language is universal, it's your body's way of saying, slow down buddy!

It is hard to stop training when your program calls for a hard session or maybe a long endurance ride. It's hard because you know that in order to become better you must train. If you don't get out and ride today, your body will be just a little bit weaker when the season starts. Or will it? Like many other athletes, listening to my body has never been something that I'm good at. I used to be a slave to my training log. If the program called for 30 hours this week, I would put in 30 hours. Regardless of weather, form and body signals. Regardless of anything. Come hell or high-water, 30 hours had to be accomplished. I would say - next week I will rest. Next week is an easy week for me, I just need to finish this week of hard training first.

Of course, my body would sometimes have other plans for me. And if I didn't listen to the early warning signs, then it would certainly make me aware by giving me an injury, illness or maybe even "overtraining". It's my body's way of slapping me in the face and telling me to wake up. I have come to understand and believe in the concept of "resting yourself into better form". Sometimes rest is what is required in order to become a better rider. But it really takes hard work to believe in that principal. It sounds so counter-intuitive. How can I get faster by staying off the bike?

You'll find the answer at the end of a season. Always have the "big picture" in mind, progress comes from a whole season of proper training. Not from 1 day or 1 week. Since the whole principal of getting better involves breaking down your body and then letting it build itself up past your previous level, it can be hard to differentiate between the good kind of tiredness and the bad kind. I, like most people, had to learn it the hard way.

I am a full-time endurance athlete, working towards the 2012 London Olympics. I maintain a blog, describing my ups and downs of training / racing. http://roadrace1.blogspot.com

Take a walk into any gym and you will see menof all shape and sizes pumping their chest insanely. Why? Because we are genetically wired up to think that by having a strong and powerful chest is a way to ward off adversaries and also a natural female magnet. The fairer sex instinctively loves to snuggle up on a strong chest as it gives them a sense of security and protection. Even in the animal kingdom, the gorilla pounds its chest to scare off foes and attract mates.

Your chest muscles or pectoralis or commonly called the pecs is a big muscle group. For your chest muscles to grow fast and massive, you will have to lift heavy and in excellent form. The fundamental exercises which you must do for your chest routine should be the flat bench press. Stay away from the machines. Use free weights. Flat presses work your entire chest muscles, and are probably the best mass chest muscles builder. Dumbbells are superior to barbells in that they allow a greater range of motion, more balancing work is required and therefore recruiting more fibres and synergistic muscles for massive growth. However you should do barbell presses for variations and shocking effect for further muscle growth.

Next will be the incline dumbbell press. Inclines work the top of your chest muscles giving you the broad and wide chest like those of comic book super heroes. The exercise is executed the same as the flat press except that you are lying on an incline bench. I do not recommend decline presses as that will develop your lower pecs and gives you a drooping chest look. We want a strong and powerful chest, not tits!

Another great mass builder for your chest is what I call the superman dip. If you do the vertical dip, you will end up working your triceps and shoulders more. If you lean forward and tuck in your chin into your chest and perform the exercise like a plane taking off or Superman flying towards the sky, then you will place major stress on your chest for a full and wide chest development. Make sure to go down to where you feel a deep stretch in your chest. The bottom part of the rep is where you chest gets the work.

Always work you chest muscles with heavy weights and in execllent form throw in some flyes and weight pushups now and then for all rounded chest muscles development.

The Practice Of Hatha Yoga

Writen by Rob Daniels

Hatha Yoga is mainly practiced for health and vitality. Hatha Yoga was introduced in the 15th century by Yogi Swatmarama. Hatha yoga focuses on the purification of the physical being which leads to the purification of the mind or vital energy. The exploration of these physical-spiritual connections and body centered practices led to the creation of Hatha Yoga. Today In the West, hatha yoga has become wildly popular as a purely physical exercise regimen divorced of its original purpose.

Whatever the historical details, Krishnamacharya has become the undisputed father of modern-day hatha yoga. Krishnamacharya's first lessons in yoga were from his father and his grandmother and passed on through generations of practice.

Hatha Yoga follows in that vein and thus successfully transcends being particularly grounded in any one religion. This exploration of these physical and spiritual connections and body centered practices led to the creation of Hatha Yoga. Hatha Yoga has been included in the life style of these traditions. Hatha Yoga classes tend, among other things, to emphasize physical mastery.

Hatha also means a force or determined effort, and yoga, of course, translates as yoke or joining together. The very name hatha yoga, a combination of "ha," meaning sun, and "tha," meaning moon, denotes the union of opposites. Through the practice of yoga an individual can gain information about physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well being.

Hatha Yoga represents opposing energies: hot and cold, fire and water following the theme of ying and yang, male and female, positive and negative. Hatha yoga attempts to balance the mind and body. The balancing of the mind and body is brought about via physical exercises (also known as asanas), controlled breathing (pranayama) and relaxation or meditiation.

Pranayama refers to breath control in yoga. In this yoga is defined as a means of binding or controlling the breath and the mind using the syllable Om. In this case yoga has extremes, practices of fasting, breath control, and postures to transcend the body, and not cultivate it. Asana body postures that are contemplative in nature and are designed to align the body and bring about the optimum situation for relaxation.

Traditional yoga is a holistic yogic path and is becoming wildly popular.

What Is Effective Cellulite Treatment

Writen by Ian Henman

First off let me start by saying, no one is cellulite free. We all have a certain amount of cellulite underneath our skin. Of course some do have more then others, but it's a natural thing for us to have some. In a nut shell cellulite is simple fat deposits held in pockets just below the skin. The form of lipids (fats) below the skin aren't much different then those found elsewhere in the body, how ever it's because they are close to the skins surface that they cause the negative appearance.

So what can you do about cellulite?

Exercise is a viable option for many. Partaking in cardio activities several times a week will help burn fat, and tone the leg muscles. While this method will work for many, often sometimes some women need more then just exercise to help rid themselves of cellulite.

Next on the list is the numerous medical procedures we can have done. From liposuction too vacuum and roller techniques some of these processes can be effective, how ever painful, costly, and have some nasty side effects. For some people this is the only avenue they evaluate for treating cellulite, but they're skipping over what really should be the first attack on cellulite.

Cellulite Treatment Products

With our aging population, cellulite treatment has been receiving more and more attention from cosmetic and supplement manufacturers. Our population is becoming more affluent, and therefore looking for more alternatives then just surgery and exercise to solve cosmetic issues such as cellulite. Hence there has been a dawn of a range of cellulite treatment products.

While like anything new some of these cellulite treatment products work better then others. It's important to do your homework prior to trying one out. While there is minimal if any side effects it's still important to not waste your time on something that isn't going to provide you with results.

The majority of these cellulite treatment products a comprised of natural ingredients. Most work on a basis of shrinking the cellulite molecules, or using some sort of ingredient to speed up the burning of fat. Both of these methods work well, and take next to no time on your part to apply the product. For those of us that don't have the spare time in our hectic schedules to exercise several times a week, or drastically change our lifestyles, an cellulite treatment product is the best option for ridding ourselves of that pesky cellulite problem.

Colloidal Silver

Writen by Steve Valentino

Colloidal silver is a suspension of ultra-fine silver particles in a suitable base. The highest quality is produced by non-chemical method, where the sub-microscopic, negatively charged silver particles are kept in suspension in de-mineralized water. These particles posses a uniform charge, zeta potential that helps in preventing the aggregation. Purer forms of the preparations are colored golden yellow. If the preparation is specified to be refrigerated or is found to contain aggregates at the bottom, then it can be safely assumed to be contaminated with other ingredients apart from the silver particles.

Colloidal silver has been used for healing in the practice of Eastern medicine. Research studies in the early twentieth century have shown that it is an effective mechanism for curtailing infective agents such as viruses and pathogenic bacteria and fungi. The silver ions inhibit the oxygen metabolic pathway of the unicellular pathogens and destroy the micro-organisms. Subsequently, they are identified and eliminated from the body by the immune and the lymphatic systems.

There are conflicting reports regarding the long-term use of colloidal silver. Some studies implicate the use as a major cause for aggria, a debilitating condition due to the deposition of silver salts in various tissues such as the skin, eye, and internal organs. However, some others cite case studies that highlight its potential anti-fungal and anti-viral properties and propose no harmful side effects even after the administration of large doses over extended periods. There are several articles in support of its non-allergic, anti-infective, and healing properties. The healing ability is attributed to the alkaline nature of colloidal silver.

Silver is an important trace element required for the human body. It contributes to 0.001% of the minerals and deficiency can result in functional impairment of the immune system, a major defense mechanism of the body.

Colloidal silver has amazing properties. It is a highly versatile substance with several applications in healing afflictions by either a topical preparation or through ingestion as a liquid, in veterinary science, and gardening and against infectious micro-organisms. It is considered as a suitable antiseptic for application to baby's eyes and one of the best deodorants on the market.

Colloidal Silver provides detailed information on Colloidal Silver, Making Colloidal Silver, Colloidal Silver Generators, Benefits Of Colloidal Silver and more. Colloidal Silver is affiliated with Coral Calcium Benefits.

Medical Error Crisis

Writen by Anna Henningsgaard

The unfortunate truth about medical errors is that they plague the poor and uninsured, reflecting the great medical inequality in our country. For those who do not consider medical errors to be a problem, consider this: medical errors kill between 44,000 and 98,000 Americans every year. This reflects the fact that medical errors kill more people per year than breast cancer, AIDS, or motor vehicle accidents. Doctors complain of inflated medical malpractice insurace costs, but medication-related errors for hospitalized patients cost around $2 billion annually.

The 41 million uninsured Americans exhibit consistently worse clinical outcomes than insured patients with the same maladies and are at increased risk for dying prematurely. Only 55% of patients in a recent random sample of adults received recommended care in treatments and preventative treatments, and the lag between the discovery of a new medicine and its adoption by doctors is 17 years. You could suffer from an ailment and not receive the proper treatment simply because your doctor is not well educated about treatments that were invented almost two decades ago!

The problem is not restricted to administering too little medication. Every year millions of people are unnecessarily hospitalized. Using excessive, unnecessary antibiotics to kill infections outright is a widespread practice that, while curing individual patients, cause strains of a disease to mutate and grow stronger, resulting in more serious infections for the entire population. In 1993, excessive antibiotics were prescribed in 20 million cases, and by now that number has multiplied.

Adverse drug reactions, procedural errors, and nosocomial infections are all aspects of medical error. Surveys have found that medical error is the norm in many instances. Medical error actually occurs in the majority of patients suffering from diabetes, hypertension, tobacco addiction, hyperlipidemia, congestive heart failure, asthma, depression, and atrial fibrillation. If you have any reason to believe that your doctors have administered an inappropriate treatment, prescribed unnecessary hospitalization, or otherwise jeopardized your wellbeing, consult a lawyer right away.

Try Cellulite Exercise For Positive Results

Writen by Craig Weaver

When you are looking to change the way you look, especially your thighs that are dimpled, you may want to try cellulite exercise. This has shown some great progress over the years as an affective way to combat the bodies natural response to an over abundance of fat cells in the body. Of course this is not a quick fix like the surgeries that are performed on the rich and famous. Cellulite exercise is a long term plan to help you combat the cellulite and keep it away without putting yourself in danger in the process. Of course there is little that anyone can do about cellulite if they are not willing to take the chances to make it happen. This requires a strong will and a fair bit of determination.

Cellulite exercises only work if you are committed to making them work. The fact about cellulite exercise is the repetition of it all. The body begins to function and tone in the way that you move during the cellulite exercises which in turn produces the results that you want. Of course there is some draw backs to the whole issue. For one thing, you must be willing to take part in cellulite exercise on a daily basis in order for them to work. Then you should consider the fact that you may be sore when you first start out. The cellulite exercises are very low impact but they require a lot of repeated stretching and so on. This is the most common complaint with this type of cellulite regimen.

Cellulite exercise is not just for cellulite either. Many of the things that you will do in this type of program will work to help you in the many ways of body toning and also with your overall health. The body will react to the cellulite exercises and become stronger over time. Then you will find that the body will actually want the exercise instead of fighting back against it.

For the most part the cellulite exercise program is one that can be beneficial to the body all the way around. Not only will you be combating the effects of the cellulite on your body but you will also be losing weight at the same time. In the end you will find that there is nothing that you can not accomplish because you will begin to feel better and make better choices when it comes to the foods that you eat and so on. Living a more healthy lifestyle is the best way to go when you are trying to fight cellulite.

The Nutritional Facts Concerning Bronchitis

Writen by Stewart Hare

Inflammation of the mucous membranes in the bronchial tree (the deep inner lung passages) is called Bronchitis.

Bronchitis comes in two forms, either acute or chronic. Viral and bacterial infections normally cause acute bronchitis which is normally a relatively mild inflammation. Sometimes irritation from environmental fumes such as tobacco smoke, acid and solvent fumes can also cause acute bronchitis. Symptoms normally happen in the winter months and follow on from a cold. Bronchitis typically begins with a dry cough which then persists in frequencies producing yellow-green mucus due to the inflammation of the mucous membranes lining in the bronchi. A wheeze and shortness of breath may also occur due to the narrowing of the airways. A slight fever and soreness behind the breast bone are other common symptoms.

Long term exposure to environmental and industrial toxins such as cigarette smoking and inhaled pollutants can cause chronic irritation of the bronchi causing chronic bronchitis. Chronic bronchitis produces excess mucus and a productive cough on a daily basis for a long period of time; it is a long-term lung problem. Other symptoms of chronic bronchitis are breathlessness, chest pain, wheezing and sometimes coughing up blood.

People with compromised immune systems, the elderly, babies, people who are exposed to environmental pollutants and those who already suffering from a lung ailment are more prone to bronchitis and should see their doctor if bronchitis develops.

Symptoms may be relieved by drinking plenty of fluids and participating in steam inhalation with added menthol or eucalyptus. This will help to break up the mucus. Stopping smoking, cutting out mucus forming foods such as dairy products, eating plenty of immune boosting fruit and vegetables plus oily fish which contain anti-inflammatory properties will also be beneficial. Studies have shown that by breast feeding your baby, lung infections can be reduced throughout early childhood.

The following supplements may help if you are suffering from Bronchitis.

Echinacea
Eucalyptus
Garlic
Multivitamins and multiminerals
N-acetyl cysteine (NAC)
Vitamin A (Should be avoid by pregnant women or women planning pregnancy)
Vitamin C lozenges
Vitamin E
Zinc lozenges
